 Religion We are
learning
about the Church and
looking ahead to answer questions. |

| Reading We
are reading "Grandfather's Journey. Our spelling words are
related to that story. The students will learn all 20 words. We
will do a reading assessment this week. |

Math We
will do a math
assessment this week.
We learn about
the purposes of
numbers to label, measure and count. |

| Science We
are studing about soil and its components. Soon we'll do a
experiment with soil. |

| Social StudiesWe have been talking
about class
rules and map reading. |

 Dear New Student, 
I want to welcome you to third grade! I can’t wait to get to know
you better. We have a terrific group of kids in
our class. We’re going
to have a wonderful, fun-filled year.
We’ll
learn cursive,
multiplication and a lot
about our country’s past.
We have awesome religion books and science books. I am so excited
about
the stories we get to read! love teaching with all my
heart.

help if you need

trust you will enjoy the
adventure of everything we’ll study

Get ready
for the thrill of third grade! Please bring a labeled water

nice and comfortable during the warm weather.
