week week the students will completing the ITBS testing.
If your child has been absent during some of the testing I
will try my best to get them up-to date on the testing.

There
will be no homework on Monday and Tuesday..

Religion~
We
are completing a chapter about Holy Spirit. It will go home on
Wednesday.
|
Reading~
Our
story this week is
''Lon Po Po", a tale from China The children
are
studying irregular verbs, writing descriptions and
researchng biographies. A book project or report is due after
testing.

|
Math~
We
recently worked on basic division facts and
telling time.
The children should practice telling time to the nearest
minute.
They will work on the number of minutes written
before and after the hour.
|
Social
Studies~ This is week the
class is studing about the westward movement and the influence of
steamboats, railroads and the telegraph. We will also be
completing a paper on current events.
|
Science~
We are preparing for a test on the human
body is soon after
testing. We still need to assemble our bodies.

Your child needs a large or several small healthy snacks
during the weeks of testing. The end of the trimester is coming up Feb.
