Ten Ways To Help your Child
Tackle Homework


. Your child will keep a planner with daily assignments. Sign the planner .
  . Introduce a planning calendar to help with long-term projects, so work isn't done at the last minute.

. Preview the assignments that need to be done and tackle the most difficult tasks first. He should write down the order he will do assignments.

. Teach her to review her work frequently. Studying math facts, spelling words and for other tests are examples.
. Get an organizer and help show how to use it to organize school workdue and assignments returned.

. Have your child bring a book bag for transporting books and assignments.
 It's needed even on last day of school to safely carry the report card.

. Encourage her to havea regular time to do homework.

She should keep old papers and tests in an organizer to prepare for future tests.

. Eliminate distractions like phone calls, television and younger brothers or sisters  during homework.

. Establish a regular place for homework.
