~ It's better
to be safe than sorry.
If your child is
feeling badly and is just not themselves or has a temperature, please
keep them home. We will miss them very much, but there's nothing
we can
do for them at school.
~ Remember to
look at the big picture.
We need healthy
students and teachers to have a great learning day. Some of our
children
are more prone to becoming ill than others.
~ If your
child gets sick at school, we'll call.
Nobody likes
being sick and away from the comfort of their own homes. Please
make sure
you give us any updates on phone numbers and emergency contacts.
~ When in
doubt, just gives us a call!
I'll be glad to
talk with you about what's going on so we can work on it
together. I'll
do everything I can to make sure as little learning is missed as
possible in my
room!
Welcome
to the Absent Students section of our class
website. Hopefully you are able to find what you need in the event that
your
child is absent.
If
your child has a fever or truly does not feel well,
please do not send them to school. Students do not perform well in
school when
they are physically ill; he/she also risks other students getting sick
if
he/she is contagious. I would also like to add a note on how important
it is
that your child is at school as much as possible. Every day at school
is important.
It is you and your child's responsibility to arrange making up any
assignments/tests missed. Please note that I am not required to give
make-up
work or allow work to be made up for students that do not have an
excused
absence.
