 This week our story is "The
Sun the Wind and the Rain". It ties
in nicely with our science unit. Writing compound sentences will be our
work this week in grammar.
The children are doing nicely with cursive writing!

We continue to count and round money. Your child can
practice making change with real money at home. We will take a test
over the chapter on Monday, October 15.

Science
The students are doing a experiment with soil on Tuesday. We are
finishing the chapter on volcanoes
and
earthquakes. A completed study guide.
the book and the science notebook will be sent home next week. Check
the planner for the day of the test.

Social Studies
We are gathering the names of veterans in our families for a

Day.
