Religion.This week we are covering Advent and Christmas this week. The students will be tested on Chapter 11 on the liturgical year on Thursday . Advent Wreath Blessing: This advent wreath, a circle of green We place upon the table. Each week a candle we shall light For Jesus' birth in the stable. Oh, bless this wreath, dear God, we pray, As we await your Son To fill our lives with light and hope. In Him we shall be one.	Language Arts-The students have finished reading Sarah Plain and Tall and writing and sharing what chapters are about this week. Possessive pronouns will be covered in grammar.
Math Your child should learn the 5X tables for Friday. We will finish the chapter on regrouping in subtraction. The test will be this Thursday.	Science The students will share reports on the Solar System this week. We will be completing our study of the Solar Ststem. We have done a chapter review and Tuesday will complete study guide. Look for the essay questionsor the test on the study guide. The science books and guide will be sent home on Tuesday. Our test will be on December 5th.
Social Studies-The children are studying about pioneers who settled our country.	Reminders If you volunteered to our drive for our field trip thank you very much! Please show the office your driver's licence and proof of insurance with the form as soon as possible. Thursday is our trip to see the crech exhibit.
